Volunteer Month 2023

We are able to make a difference in the lives of youth in our community year after year because of our Volunteers and Mentors. Their time and consideration are the foundation of our work at Big Brothers Big Sisters and we appreciate everything they do.

In celebration of #NationalVolunteersMonth we would love to hear your Mentoring Story! It can be written as you’d like and there is no minimum length. You can talk about things you’ve done in your match, or how the match has impacted you/ your life, there is no right or wrong way to share your story.

You don’t have to be a Mentor to share your story. You may share your story if you are a former mentor, a parent/ guardian, a teacher, a former mentee, a donor, a former board/ committee volunteer, or anyone who has a story about how our youth Mentoring had an impact on your life. We will share your story here on our website for others to view.

We respect your privacy and will not share last names in our posted stories. We will also not post your story without contacting you first.

All stories will be reviewed before they are posted.
